- Engine block brace kit suitable for TR5-6 engines as fitted to all our fast road/race engines.
- Particularly necessary if the block is used in competition or bored to beyond .040″.
- Should always be fitted to all engines of 77.0mm bore and over.
- Will require machining work to fit correctly.
- Kit contains;
- Steel main cap supports with deep Unbrako type capscrews
- Steel rear oil seal housing
- Fitting bolts
Engine block brace kit suitable for TR5-6 engines as fitted to all our fast road/race engines. Particularly necessary if the block is used in competition or bored to beyond .040". Should always be fitted to all engines of 77.0mm bore and over. All steel cap supports with deep Unbrako type capscrews. The original aluminium rear oil seal housing is replaced by a heavy duty steel equivalent adding stability to the rear of the block. Please note this oil seal housing will require machining to fit flush with the block once installed.
Main caps are fully supported but require to have their caps machined flat. Full kit supplied with instructions.
