Billet steel race crankshaft suitable for TR5-6 designed by Racetorations and manufactured in the UK by the world renowned Arrow Precision Engineering.
This crankshaft has been designed to reduce the harmonics that are usually found when running at high RPM for long periods of time. The orientation of the journal counter weights has been altered and the shape adjusted to combat the harmonic issues. The torsional rigidity has also been increased by 20%. The crank is 5kg lighter than the original item and 800g lighter than BEN209-6 our other billet steel crankshaft.
The big end journals have been hollowed to reduce the rotating mass further while also increasing strength. The rear flange incorporates an 8-bolt flywheel fixing, see BEN242 for bolts & BEN202 or BEN204 for the flywheel. Each crankshaft is supplied with an individual data sheet outlining dimensions and weights specific to that particular crank. Max RPM: 8000
Crankshaft can be supplied with or without superfinishing polishing process, this high quality finish reduces rotational drag, and increases fatigue life. Derived from the pinnacle of motor sport technology and used in most Racetorations engines. Select this product and the process will be completed before delivery. Required connecting rods can be found under BEN201-SET.
