The standard 'O' Ring part number 106050 is prone to leaking and this seal is an improved solution for sealing on the Selector Shaft. Three required per gearbox, one for each Selector Shaft.

The seal is a tight fit and care is needed when fitting. Lubricate the seal well and press into the casting up to recessed face ensuring the seal is square to the face until it is very slightly proud of the surface. The recessed side of the seal should face into the casting with the marked face outwards to the closing plate part number 106051.

Suitable for the manual gearbox fitted to Triumph TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR3B, TR4, TR4A, TR5, TR250, TR6, STAG, 2000, 2500, 2.5Pi Saloon and Dolomite Sprint.
