The original Triumph 6 cylinder blocks were not fitted with removable cam bearings as they relied on the block surface to act as the support for the camshaft. As well as being an inferior method of location it has a tendency to heavily wear the blocks. For this reason and for any serious engine build we recommend line boring the block to fit this white metal camshaft bearing kit. Although this is a specialist machinist job it is essential for any engine especially fast road & race engines. Suitable for TR5-6, GT6, Vitesse, 2000 & 2500 engines.
