The Bonnet Lock Catch Plate is fixed to the bulkhead and operated by the Bonnet Release Cable part number RTC2647 / 630573. It engages the Bonnet Fastener that is attached to the Bonnet itself, part number 619580, and also has provision for the Safety Hook.
Whilst this design is for Triumph TR5, TR250 and TR6 it can also be fitted to TR4 and TR4A models (which did not have the Safety Hook originally).
