Racetorations Aluminium Engine Oil Catch Tank Kit – TR2-3A

Aluminium engine breather catch tank kit suitable for TR2-3A. This has been specifically designed to be mounted in the engine bay as shown in the pictures. The kit comes complete with all the necessary components to carry out the installation. 3 black aeroquip hoses are supplied with matching alloy fittings to connect the engine to the breather tank, the first locates in the crankcase of the engine by removing the original breather tube and installing our alloy adapter. The second hose links the rocker cover to the breather tank, a fitting which will need to be installed in the cover is supplied in the kit. The final hose provides atmospheric pressure to the tank by routing along the chassis. The tank is fitted with a level sight tube and bung for easy draining. The 4 cylinder engine fitted to TR's breathes heavily in standard trim and even more so when delivering high performance, for that reason a breather tank is an upgrade worth considering.
