Each gearbox incorporates several key engineering enhancements, including a specially manufactured layshaft hardened to twice the standard depth and high-speed bearings that reduce layshaft point load by 50%. We fit competition-grade synchro rings, hand-toleranced for precise shifting, along with durable steel bushes that replace standard brass components for enhanced load capacity.
Proven in competition, these gearboxes have powered numerous TR Register championship-winning TR4s and TR6s, including our 230 BHP Talisman TR6. They're equally at home in high-performance road cars, supporting builds up to and beyond 200 BHP.

Our uprated gearbox clutch release kit (GER009) is fitted to all our gearboxes as standard, however we can install our hydraulic release bearing kit (GER101) which removes the mechanical release mechanism replacing it with hydraulic actuation which reduces driver fatigue when travelling long distances.
