A & D Type Overdrive Solenoid

Replacement overdrive engagement solenoid suitable for Laycock A or D type overdrives. As fitted to many classic cars of the period including Triumph TR2, TR3, TR3A, TR3B, TR4, TR5, TR250, and TR6, Austin Healey, MG, Jaguar Mk 2  Etc. Supplied as complete unit including plunger.  If using on a D type overdrive you will need to re-use the original plunger as the plunger supplied is only suitable for A type application. Sometimes catalogued as part number 76515 or 109521 (that was just the rubber sleeve) also as AEJ42 in Austin Healey catalogues.1 required per overdrive.
