The standard Triumph oil pick up has limitations under extreme oil surge even with sump oil baffling. Momentary pressure loss under race conditions usually results in bearing damage. Racetorations has re-designed the pump and repositioned the oil pick up. The new 10cm diameter pancake type filter is located centrally at the front, deepest part of the sump within 4mm of the bottom of our reduced height alloy sump. Some baffling is required to reduce rearward oil surge on acceleration therefore BEN119 baffle plate required. We sell together as a kit, see BEN120. The uprated pump is supplied primed and ready to fit only with our reduced height alloy sump, pert number BEN104. .
