Similar to BEN103 but is approximately one inch (25mm) shorter. The overall depth reduction ensures that the alloy fins only just protrude below the chassis rails. If you happen to leave the track, the sump will be protected from major frontal impacts by the chassis. The sump also offers additional engine block rigidity over the stock sump. The tin sump is too flexible for powerful engines. Included with this sump is the modified steel Oil Pump Cap. Used for better tolerance and improved flow with much opened out oilway. Shortens the standard pump to fit in the reduced height sump. Fully interchangeable with original item, Fits original oil strainer gauze. Extended bolts are required (BEN113). Baffle plate & sump bungs required, see BEN105, 106 & 107.
