The Arrow Precision Engineering Billet Steel Race Crankshaft, designed by Racetorations and manufactured in the UK by the renowned Arrow Precision Engineering for TR5-6 models, offers unmatched performance and durability.
This crankshaft has been designed to reduce the harmonics that are usually found when running at high RPM for long periods of time, as the orientation of the journal counterweights has been altered and the shape adjusted to combat the harmonic issues. The torsional rigidity has also been increased by 20% compared to previous Racetorations steel crankshafts. The crank is 5kg lighter than the original item and 800g lighter than previous Racetorations steel cranks
Hollowed big-end journals further reduce rotating mass while enhancing strength, and the rear flange includes an 8-bolt flywheel fixing for added security. See BEN242 for bolts & BEN202 or BEN204 for the flywheel. Each crankshaft comes with an individual data sheet detailing dimensions and weights, and it supports a maximum RPM of 8000.
