These guides are used when you need to fit exhaust valves with 5/16" stems but you have the larger 3/8" valve stem guides with a 17/32" bore in the cylinder head. This conversion guide enables Triumph TR2 to TR4 up to to CT21470 cylinder heads to use the more desirable late TR4 & TR4A valve with the 5/16" stem. Manufactured in Bronze for lower friction, better heat dissipation and better longevity at high RPM and tapered at the tip for better gas flow. The Triumph part number for the steel version was 136575. 4 required.
