Uprated Steering Column Bush Triumph TR2 to TR6

This is the uprated version of the Triumph Steering Column Bush which was a common MOT failure. Manufactured from a modern plastic bearing material with much closer tolerances than the original bush. The new bush is supported by a Superpro polyurethane outer layer which locates in the outer column in the same way as the original bush. Fit as a two lower bushes together to steering box cars with split column, one upper and one lower bush fitted per car to Triumph TR4, TR4A, TR5, TR250 & TR6, also fits Spitfire to early 1500, GT6, Herald & Vitesse. 1 bush fitted to late Spitfire 1500 in lower location.

3/4" internal diameter. Price is per bush.

Fitting is simple. Ensure the lugs on the outer layer line up with the holes in the inner bush. The lugs will then compress into the inner bush and pop out into the holes in the column when fitting. Use a little silicon lube if necessary when pushing the bush into the column.
