Quality

Any parts on this website with industry standard part numbers are industry standard components. Parts that carry our part numbers come with our seal of approval indicating that they are the best available quality and as used by ourselves in our own workshop.

For many of the industry standard components we offer upgraded or improved quality alternatives. If you are concerned about the quality of industry standard components and can’t readily find an alternative, please contact us for help and advise because we have probably already encountered the same issues as you.

Shipping

At Racetorations, we aim to use the best carrier to ensure your order is delivered safely, securely, and on time. We are able to deliver almost anywhere in the world but please note that you may incur import taxes in some countries depending on the value of goods. We will describe the goods as antique auto parts that may help to obviate import charges in some countries.

Orders placed on our web site are despatched as soon as practically possible. If your parts are required urgently and you want an express delivery service, please contact us and we will do the rest.

We use Royal Mail’s first class post service for small packages and currently TNT for most of our domestic and the majority of our overseas parcels.

Prices for shipping (including packaging and handling), are shown in the order cart.  Shipping charges for export of oversize parcels outside the UK, may not be accurately displayed by our web site. Please contact us for further details.

If you have any special delivery requirements or if we are unable to calculate the final shipping price please contact us.

Please note that as a security measure, your first order with us must be delivered to the credit card holders registered address.

Returns

Goods supplied in good faith against your description of application or your direct instruction may be returned within 30 days of despatch from us with the exceptions noted here. The value of the goods only, less a 10% handling charge, will be refunded provided that the goods are returned to us free of encumbrances and in the same condition as despatched to you and suitable for re-sale. You must have made prior arrangement with us before they are returned and the cost of return must be met by you.

Goods found to be damaged, incorrect or incomplete on arrival should be reported to us and returned if requested with the original packaging. We will make arrangements to collect the goods or ask you to despatch them to us as necessary.

In all cases, returns must be arranged with us in advance. All packages must contain a note with your name, address, phone number and/or e-mail address along with the reason for return. All parcels must be securely packed and must be clearly marked with our name and address.

NOTE: Special manufactured items. Items specifically manufactured for you will not be returnable except under warranty terms and you do not have statutory rights to cancel such an order. We will make this clear prior to manufacture and in such cases we will normally require full payment in advance or a non-refundable deposit. Similarly, goods supplied second hand will be as described in advance and as such will not be returnable except were we have failed to point out any defects in the goods or not made clear in our description of the goods a condition that may hide defects.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act or Consumer Contracts Regulations.
